Facebook, Youtube and the new craze, Twitter all have two things in common. They’re used as social media tools & everyone has a hand in it. Even people’s pets have their paws in the space!
So what is social media? According to Wikipedia, it is “content created by people using highly accessible and scalable publishing technologies.” Otherwise a space where people use online tools to share info as fast as their cable wires can upload.
Can’t publish a book? Publish it online with a click of a button using Wordpress or Squidoo. People tall and small express their thoughts and opinions every day and with information being exchanged faster than ever before, all your answers can be answered with an inquiry in Google’s search bar. If its hot, people are sharing it through the grapevine of social media mediums.
Businesses as well have broken into the social media market because its so valuable. Getting attention and traffic to market their services and products have become fairly inexpensive. Where there’s something newsworthy, there’s money to be made.
